Project Cafe Bialik is a preservation project located at one of Tel Aviv's most central points on the corner of Allenby Street at the entrance to the historic Bialik Street.
This mythological building constructed in the 1930s has served as a centrally-located and well-known cafe in the city and continues to play an important role in the modern culture and lively social life that have developed in Tel Aviv, evolving into a popular corner with a view to the sea that attracted a cultural and artistic crowd of poets, photographers and many others.
This project includes the preservation of the first floor of the building and the construction of 5 additional floors above, newly designed as a tribute to international style with a modern interpretation that will contain 21 living units above the commercial ground floor.
Planning: Bar Orian Architects
Project Allenby HaKovshim is the direct continuation of the other projects initiated by City Partner on Allenby Street. The existing building on the site will be demolished to make way for the construction of 32 units above a commercial ground floor.
The building's design and volume blend in with the urban fabric of the White City area of Tel Aviv while offering a contemporary design interpretation.
The design combines the use of special materials like Corten plates and tin netting to give the building a diverse and interesting facade.
Planning: Muhlbauer Architects
Project BE29 was one of our most meaningful projects as it marked the revival of Allenby Street and the return of its status as one of Tel Aviv's central, high-end streets.
Under the auspices of Architect Gidi Bar Orian, plans were laid down for a prestigious, modern building that would make a great contribution to the already-fascinating dialogue and history of architecture on Allenby Street.
The completed building includes 49 units over a commercial ground floor, creating a unique blend of 2-3 room apartments that match the atmosphere of modern urban life.
Interior design of the public spaces and the layout of the apartments was conducted by Interior Designer Irma Orianshtein.
The building was first populated in 2017
